Mini Session Photography Agreement & Livestock Liability Waiver

This Agreement is entered into between Milk & Meadow Experience (“Photographer”) and the undersigned Client. By booking a session and signing below, Client agrees to the following terms:

1. Session Booking & Structure

Client is reserving a 15 minute mini photography session conducted by Milk & Meadow Experience.

Sessions are scheduled in consecutive time slots. Client agrees to arrive on time. Late arrival may result in reduced shooting time without refund or rescheduling.

Exact location details and session logistics will be provided prior to the session date.

2. Payment Terms

The full session fee is due at the time of booking.

Sessions are not reserved until both:

• Signed Agreement
• Full payment received

All payments are final and non refundable.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Due to the limited nature of mini sessions:

• All payments are non refundable.
• Cancellations made more than seven (7) days prior to the session may reschedule to the next available release date.
• Cancellations made within seven (7) days of the session forfeit the session with no refund and no reschedule.
• No shows forfeit the session with no refund.

Reschedules must be requested more than seven (7) days prior to the session date and will be moved to the next available release date.

Additional reschedules require payment of a new session fee.

If Photographer determines that weather conditions, livestock safety concerns, or other unsafe circumstances exist, the session will be rescheduled to the next available date. Sessions will be rescheduled, not refunded.

4. Image Delivery

Client will receive the number of edited digital images specified at booking.

Images will be delivered via online gallery within three (3) weeks of the session date.

Unedited images are not provided.

Additional images, full galleries, or print products may be available for purchase separately.

5. Livestock Interaction & Acknowledgment of Risk

Client understands that sessions involve live livestock, including but not limited to Highland calves.

Client acknowledges that livestock are animals with unpredictable behavior and that interaction with animals and outdoor environments carries inherent risk.

Potential risks include, but are not limited to:

• Kicking
• Stepping
• Sudden movement
• Biting
• Tripping hazards
• Uneven ground
• Allergic reactions
• Contact related injury

A professional animal handler will be present during sessions involving livestock.

Client agrees to:

• Follow all instructions given by Photographer and animal handler
• Maintain appropriate distance when directed
• Supervise all minor children at all times
• Immediately comply with safety guidance

Client assumes full responsibility for themselves and all minors in their care.

6. Animal Welfare & Session Modification

Client understands that the health, safety, and welfare of the livestock is the highest priority during all Milk & Meadow sessions.

If at any time the animal handler or Photographer determines that the animal is experiencing stress, fatigue, overstimulation, or unsafe behavior, the session may be paused, modified, shortened, or ended immediately.

Client acknowledges that session timing and flow may be adjusted at the discretion of the Photographer or animal handler to protect animal welfare.

If a session must be shortened or discontinued due to animal welfare concerns, the Photographer will use reasonable efforts to complete the session within the scheduled timeframe when possible. If continuation is not possible, the session may be rescheduled to a future release date at the Photographer’s discretion. No refunds will be issued due to animal related interruption.

7. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

Client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation in the session.

Client releases and holds harmless:

• Milk & Meadow Experience
• Its owner
• Contractors and assistants
• The livestock owner
• The animal handler
• The property owner
• Any affiliated partners

From any and all claims, liabilities, damages, demands, actions, or causes of action arising from participation in the session, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, or livestock interaction.

8. Property Acknowledgment

Sessions may take place on private property.

Client agrees to respect the property and follow all rules provided.

Client releases the property owner from liability arising from participation in the session.

9. Health & Safety Confirmation

Client confirms they are aware of potential allergies, sensitivities, or health concerns related to animals, hay, grass, dirt, dust, or outdoor environments.

Client accepts responsibility for determining whether participation is appropriate for themselves and any minors in their care.

10. Model Release 

Client grants Milk & Meadow Experience permission to photograph all participants during the session.

Client grants Photographer the right to use images for:

• Portfolio
• Website
• Social media
• Marketing materials
• Advertising

If Client wishes to decline image use, written notice must be provided prior to the session date. Photographer reserves the right to decline bookings that restrict portfolio use.

11. Limitation of Liability

In the unlikely event of equipment malfunction, file loss, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond Photographer’s control, liability is limited to the amount paid for the session.

12. Agreement & Signature

By proceeding with booking and submitting payment, you agree to all terms outlined above, Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms stated in this Agreement and Liability Waiver.
